Deadname (triple page)

This trio of pages MIGHT make it to the final draft of my possible webcomic.
I like the direction, I'm almost there with coloring and style.
I crunched these in less than two days, it's been challenging but overall very satisfying.

Also don't forget: trans rights are human rights.

I'm still debating how to render "voiceover" text instead of dialogue, but I guess free text is enough.

I'm surprisingly quite proud of this set of colors because I've been able to convey exactly what I wanted. Also raise your hand if you love dark purple.

I love flatting, but once it's done I'm always terrified at the thought of missing an important point. I still need to learn how to give life to things without using too many effects.

I swear to god I'm not a masochist but linearting the frame and the bench was -- something.

This represents only a TENTH of the sketches I did for this one. I was absolutely unsure of most things, poses and positions. Also I have never truly held a violin. REFERENCES and pinterest boards have been LIFE SAVING.
